UPDATE: The repairs are complete and the shade sails have been reinstalled. The car park will no longer close on 2 - 3 April 2022.

Maranoa Regional Council wishes to advise residents that the Arthur Street Carpark in Roma will be temporarily closed. 

The Arthur Street Carpark will be temporarily closed from Saturday, 26 March to Sunday, 27 March as well as from Saturday, 2 April to Sunday, 3 April to allow for the repaired shade sails to be reinstalled.

The current shade sails will be taken down the week before to allow for repairs to the shade sails to be completed.

The remainder of the carpark, including entrances from both Arthur Street and Wyndham Street, will be closed. Please ensure your vehicle is removed by 5am, Saturday 26 March and Saturday, 2 April to avoid the closure.

Council would like to thank residents for their cooperation to allow these repair works to be undertaken.
