Councillor Amber Davis relocated to Roma from Charleville in 2005 for a position with the former Roma Town Council. As she describes, she came for the job and fell in love with both the region and the people. Amber now calls Roma home together with her husband Wayne and two children. 

She and her husband own and operate their business ‘Bessie’s Ice-Cream Bus’, which they have built from the ground up. Most recently she was working for Programmed Skilled Workforce as training coordinator where she managed trainees and apprentices.

Outside of her work, Amber coaches an under 8’s netball team and in previous years, volunteered her time with the Roma Show Society committee.

As a Councillor, Amber seeks to get Council back to business and continue building strong, liveable and sustainable communities for the future of the Maranoa region.
