Councillor Jane Vincent has lived and worked around the Maranoa for much of her life. Involved in the beef industry from an early age, she now lives and works with her husband Dayne at their property north of Roma. Together they have two adult children.
She enjoys the vibrancy of all the communities within the Maranoa region and acknowledges the commitment of volunteers and the business community for making it a great place to live, work and play.
With experience in community and tourism development along with her volunteering with local community groups Injune District Tourism, Cultural Heritage Injune, she looks forward to continuing to advocate for tourism, to grow economic diversity and capitalise on the many visitors who wish to experience country life.
As a Councillor, Jane hopes to continue her passion for community connectiveness, proactively communicate regional issues with ratepayers and ensure financial sustainability for council.
