Water main replacement works to commence in Surat

Maranoa Regional Council will commence works in Surat on Monday, 31 January 2022.

These works are to replace the water mains on Robert Street (between Cordelia Street and Charlotte Street) and Ivan Street (between Charlotte Street and Sarah Street).

The current water main will be replaced to provide a more reliable service to residents. The project is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete (weather permitting).

Traffic management will be in place for the safety of both the workers and road users. Council asks that you please follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signs during this period.
