Maranoa Regional Council is calling on all our music loving local communities to place submissions to host Festival of Small Halls this October.

Maranoa Regional Council is calling on all our music loving local communities to place submissions to host Festival of Small Halls this October.

Festival of Small Halls is venturing back to Maranoa region between Wednesday, 13 October to Saturday, 31 October 2021 as part of another delightful spring tour.

Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country's largest festivals and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia.

The successful community will be required to work with Woodfordia, the touring group, regarding marketing, ticket sales, secure an MC for the night and a working committee that will decorate the hall and clean up after the event.

The community may benefit financially from the Festival of Small Halls with profits from ticket sales to be split evenly with Woodfordia and will also benefit from the sale of food and drink on the night.

Interested parties will be required to submit an Expression of Interest Form by Friday, 23 July 2021.

For more information or to download the Expression of Interest Form please visit Council's website or call your Local Development Officer on 1300 007 662.
