Taking place in Roma from 31 May to 3 June, the Maranoa will welcome South West’s future leaders as they embark on a journey to become part of a network of people equipped to meet future challenges.

Funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and facilitated by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation, the Drought Resilience Leaders Development Program takes an innovative approach to building transformational leadership skills through collaborative learning and mentoring.

With the South West selected as one of 12 regions across Australia to be included in the program, the first of three sessions will take place in Roma.

The program offers a learning experience that enables future leaders to be part of a forward-thinking network of people committed to growing resilience, in their communities.

Applications are now open to Southwest QLD regional communities and Maranoa residents are encouraged to apply.

To apply, visit the Australia Rural Leadership Foundation website, https://rural-leaders.org.au/programs/drought-resilience-leaders-program/drought-resilience-leaders-development-program/
