Water main upgrade commences on Soutter Street, Roma

Maranoa Regional Council will commence works on Monday, 7 March to upgrade a water main on Soutter Street (between McDowall Street and Bowen Street).

Council's Water Team will be replacing the ageing main with a larger main, improving water pressure and flows slightly in the area. The project is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete (weather permitting).

Traffic management will be in place for the safety of both the workers and road users. Council asks that you please follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signs during this period.

Council will notify residents if the water supply will be interrupted while works are underway.
