Harmony Week 2022
Celebrating and encouraging inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, Maranoa Regional Council welcomes you to attend a variety of workshops in light of Harmony Week.
This year, Harmony Week will run from Monday, 21 March to Sunday, 27 March.
Maranoa residents are invited to leave the busyness of everyday life behind with Mindfulness and Meditation classes; then jazz it up with Bollywood dance workshops; and learn and taste Indian cuisines with cooking demonstrations.
All workshops are free of charge and will be run by presenter, Roushini, who is a cultural artist, collaborator, entertainer, author, and storyteller.
She is beyond excited to celebrate Harmony Week across the Maranoa!
Council also welcomes children to pick up a take home puzzle piece kit from their local library. Colour as a family or as an individual – once you have completed your artwork, please place your name on the back of the puzzle piece. Return your completed puzzle piece to your local library by Monday, 14 March to be included in our giant Harmony Week community puzzle installation.
