Roma’s CBD and major landmarks will shine orange tonight in recognition for National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative celebrates 12 years of action, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to prevent bullying.

Today is a day for schools and communities to come together and take a stand against bullying and violence. Today opens the door to start conservations and raise awareness of bullying prevention strategies to promote a future that is inclusive, supportive and free of all forms of bullying and violence.

The theme for 2022 is Kindness Culture. By building Kindness Culture together, we can promote inclusion, respect and community belonging for all students in schools across Australia. This theme offers schools an opportunity to teach what is kindness and demonstrate kind behaviour. Kindness is a key element for bullying prevention and promotes inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging.
