Mosquito fogging will take place in Surat this week, to help control and reduce mosquito numbers within the town area.

Fogging is set to occur on Monday, 28 March, Wednesday, 30 March, Monday, 4 April and Wednesday, 6 April, between the hours of 5am and 7.30am (Weather permitting).

The fogger, which sounds similar to a motor vehicle with no exhaust, uses a mix of a chemical and diesel to create the ‘fog’ and kills flying adult mosquitoes. The fog smoke is safe for humans and pets.
