Works commence at Roma's largest Bottle Tree

Works have commenced this week on a new boardwalk and viewing platform at Roma’s largest Bottle Tree.

Works have commenced this week on a new boardwalk and viewing platform at Roma’s Largest Bottle Tree. Once complete the works will allow visitors to get up close and personal with the Bottle Tree, while protecting the fine surface roots around its base.

The works are necessary to protect the health and extend the life of the Bottle Tree, while allowing visitors the opportunity to view the impressive tree from directly underneath its impressive canopy.

The works will be performed by local company H&H Builders under the guidance of a qualified and independent arborist.

Works are scheduled to take approximately four weeks to complete (weather permitting).

During the works, viewing of the tree will be restricted.
