Council to commence water main replacement on Queen Street, Roma

Maranoa Regional Council will commence works from Tuesday, 5 April 2022 to replace a water main on Queen Street (between McDowall and Duke Street).

Council’s Water Team will be replacing the ageing main, which has had numerous breaks in the past. The project is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete (weather permitting).

Traffic management will be in place for the safety of both the workers and road users. Council asks that you please follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signs during this period.

Council will notify residents if the water supply will be interrupted while works are underway.
