CRAWFORD STREET TO RECEIVE NEW KERB AND CHANNEL

Kerb and channel works 1

Maranoa Regional Council would like to advise residents that kerb and channel works are due to commence on Crawford Street, Roma on Monday, 9 May 2022.

The works, which are scheduled to take approximately 4-6 weeks, will see new kerb and channel installed on the section of Crawford Street between Miscamble and Elmer Streets. Weather permitting, the works are scheduled to be completed by mid-June.

To accommodate these works, Crawford Street (between Elmer Street and Miscamble Street) will be open to local traffic only. Detour signage will be established for all other traffic. Council will be in contact and work closely with local residents adjacent to the worksite to minimise impacts. 

Temporary signage also will be in place to help guide motorists and pedestrians safely through the works.
