Drop in to the Surat nbn / Ventia Roadshow on Monday, 8 August 2022!

The NBN is coming! NBN and Ventia would like to invite residents to a roadshow information session.

This will take place on Monday, 8 August 2022 at Lions Park, Burrowes Street (Surat Shire Hall - wet weather) between 3pm – 5pm.

The aim of the roadshow is to speak with the community about the next stages of the planned rollout of the NBN network FTTP (Fibre to the Premises).

This will provide an opportunity for residents to drop in and meet NBN and Ventia representatives, ask questions and talk about the program in general. There will be installation information as well as examples of the equipment that will be installed.

NBN and Ventia are currently surveying existing services and connection routes to each premise.

The next stage will be the construction of the connections to existing premises and the final stage will be connection to newly installed services via a Retail Service Provider.

Council encourages residents of Surat to drop by and chat with the Ventia and NBN team to find out more about the service.
