MOSQUITO FOGGING TO COMMENCE IN COUNCIL OWNED GROUNDS IN SURAT

Council would like to advise residents in Surat that Mosquito fogging will be conducted at Council owned sporting grounds and parks next week, to help control and reduce mosquito numbers.

Fogging is set to occur on Monday, 7 November 2022 between the hours of 5am and 7.30am (weather permitting).

The fogger, which sounds similar to a motor vehicle with no exhaust, uses a mix of a chemical and diesel to create the ‘fog’ and kills flying adult mosquitoes. The fog smoke is safe for humans and pets.
