Expression of Interest - Sale of 236 Edwardes Street North, Roma QLD 4455

Council invites submissions from parties interested in purchasing a house and land package located at 236 Edwardes Street North, Roma Qld 4455.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) process aims to establish the level of interest from parties wishing to purchase this property. This renovators delight was acquired by Council as part of the Roma flood mitigation project.

Now that the levee bank has been constructed in this area, Council is offering the opportunity for someone to purchase the house and make it a home. A summary of the EOI will be presented to a Council Meeting for consideration.

Mayor Tyson Golder said the sale of the house and land package is a great opportunity for new and existing residents who are looking to purchase land in Roma.

“In a time where the housing market has reached new levels, residents now have a chance at a new real estate opportunity through Council’s Expressions of Interest process,” Cr Golder said. 

“Roma is a beautiful town to live in and I encourage any interested parties wishing to purchase this property to place a submission,” he said.

The property is offered on an “as is” basis and interested parties must undertake their own investigation in relation to the adequacy of the property for their requirements. Interested parties can arrange an onsite inspection by contacting Council on 1300 007 662.
