Join the Maranoa community this Australia Day, Friday 26 January, with Australia Day Awards, Aussie meals and plenty of exciting events to keep the whole family entertained.
Australia Day is a time for all Australians to come together to reflect, respect and celebrate.
Whether it’s an award ceremony or a splash in the local pool, Australia Day events will be taking place in the local areas of Mitchell, Roma, Surat, Injune and Yuleba. View the full list of events on the Council’s Facebook Page and website.

The Maranoa has you covered this Australia Day. Cool off in your local pools at Roma, Mitchell, Wallumbilla or Surat. Enjoy drag races and billy kart rides in Roma or participate in social bowls in Yuleba. There is truly something for everyone this Friday 26 January.” Cr Golder said.
