Celebrating our Seniors across the Maranoa!

Maranoa Regional Council would like to invite senior residents in our communities to come together and celebrate Senior’s month this October!

Towns and libraries across the Maranoa will be hosting fun filled events to bring our Seniors together and celebrate with morning teas, BBQs, yoga, comedy shows and so much more!

Seniors Month is a time to recognise how special our Seniors are to our communities.

Mayor Tyson Golder said that the senior community is an essential part of making our communities tick, and it is important to recognise and celebrate their contribution to our towns.

“It is important that we recognise the vital knowledge and volunteering role senior residents have in our communities and Seniors Month events across the Maranoa will be a great opportunity to say thank you.” Said Cr Golder
