Mitchell water

With the completion of Mitchell’s new bore and reservoir, Council’s Water Team has switched the town’s water supply to the new bore.

Mitchell residents may notice the colour of their water may be slightly black in colour, this is due to the new treated water and improved water pressure lifting a film from the water pipes that has been deposited over the years. If you notice this, please run your taps until your water runs clear. The water remains safe to consume.
