Rate notices for Maranoa residents issued for January to June 2025 period

Maranoa residents are encouraged to keep an eye on their mailboxes with rate notices being issued to ratepayers on Wednesday, 5 February.
The rate notices cover the current half-year period, from 1 January to 30 June 2025.
Rate notices have been issued to residents at their last known address, and if they do not receive them, they should contact Council to ensure they receive it without delay.
To receive the prompt payment discount of 5% on the general rates charged, the total rates and charges owing (including any arrears), must be paid in full on or before Friday, 7 March 2025.
To help them receive their notices more quickly, residents can register to receive their rates via email by completing a ‘Request to Receive Rates Notices Electronically’ form available on Council’s website.
Ratepayers are reminded to account for potential delays when making payments via electronic means or mail to avoid missing the discount.
To ensure eligibility for the prompt payment discount it is advised that electronic payments be made well in advance of the due date.
For ease and convenience, the following payment methods are available:
- In person – cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard at any Maranoa Regional Council Customer Service Centre
