Temporary closure of facilities at Surat Hall and Cobb & Co Changing Station

Council would like to advise residents that works will commence at the Surat Hall as well as the Cobb & Co Changing Station in November and December 2021.

The Surat Hall toilet upgrade works will run from Wednesday, 17 November to Friday, 10 December and during this time the hall and toilets will be unavailable for use.

The Surat Cobb & Co Changing Station foyer upgrade will commence on Saturday, 20 November and is expected to continue until Friday, 17 December. During this time there will be no access to the museum foyer. Visitors will be provided with alternative access to the museum, via a secondary door on Burrowes Street. Visitor information and souvenirs will be available through the library, along with continued access to the Surat on Balonne Gallery and other services normally provided. The complex will be closed on Sundays.
