Regional Consultation Workshop – South West Queensland

Maranoa Regional Council will host the Destination 2045 Regional Consultation Workshop – South West in Roma on Friday, February 21, 2025.
The workshop, led by Assistant Minister for Tourism Bree James, invites industry stakeholders and community leaders to help shape Queensland’s tourism future.
The Destination 2045 plan aims to boost Queensland’s global appeal by tapping into cultural and lifestyle opportunities, promoting sustainable ecotourism and capitalising on the upcoming Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This consultation is a crucial step in developing a shared vision that will drive the state’s visitor economy for the next two decades.
