Keep Maranoa Beautiful as the Annual Kerbside Collection returns next month
Maranoa residents are encouraged to join in the community cleanup spirit as the Annual Kerbside Collection campaign returns in March.
As part of the Keep Maranoa Beautiful campaign, the initiative offers residents a valuable opportunity to dispose of large household items, green waste and metal waste – helping to declutter homes and maintain a cleaner, greener community.
The free kerbside collection service will begin on Monday, 24 March 2025 and continue through to Friday, 4 April.
Maranoa Regional Councillor and Portfolio Spokesperson for Town Beautification Amber Davis expressed the importance of the annual kerbside collection service in maintaining the region's cleanliness and sustainability.
"The annual kerbside collection is a vital part of our efforts to keep the Maranoa region clean, green and free from clutter," Cr Davis said.
"I encourage all residents to take advantage of this free service, which benefits the whole community by reducing waste and contributing to a cleaner environment for everyone.”
To ensure a smooth and efficient collection process, residents are kindly requested to refrain from placing items on the kerb until Friday, 21 March 2025.
