Gas main to be installed on Bowen Street, Roma

Maranoa Regional Council will be undertaking works from Monday, 15 November 2021 to install a new gas main in Roma on Bowen Street (from Tiffin Street to Major Street).

Works will provide a vital link in the network and are anticipated to take approximately four weeks to complete (weather permitting).

There will be no disruption to the gas services during this period.

Once the installation is complete, the team will need to connect the gas main to the network where service interruptions will occur. Residents will be notified when this interruption is planned.

Traffic management will be in place for the safety of both the workers and road users. Council asks that you please follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signs during this period.
