Councils across the South West came together to showcase the region with Channel 7.

Tourism Portfolio spokesperson, Councillor Vincent, said it’s a wonderful partnership with our neighbouring councils to showcase the whole region’s tourism offerings to a TV audience.

“By working together with other Councils, we can tell a bigger story—one that highlights the adventure, culture, and unique experiences that await visitors in South West Queensland, making a visit to our region even more compelling.

“Tourism is a major driver of our local economy, and this feature will help us reach new visitors who may not have discovered the Maranoa otherwise. More visitors mean more support for our accommodation providers, tourism attractions, and local businesses in general.”
