Community Budget Meetings

Over the past two weeks Councillors have been out and about meeting with residents to discuss the budget and answering your questions about the decisions made around rates.

Across 7 days, Councillors travelled over 1,400 kilometres visiting 16 Communities. In total, more than 24 hours was spent discussing budget and answering your questions.

This week rates notices will go out.

We acknowledge that it is an important topic for our residents and your Council is committed to being open and transparent.

For those residents who couldn't join us for the community forums, a letter summarising some of the key points discussed is being sent out with your rates notice.
