Free pool safety inspections available this summer!

This year will be the fifth year Maranoa Regional Council offers free domestic pool safety inspections during summer.

Council will be offering free pool inspections from Wednesday, 1 December 2021 to Monday, 28 February 2022. 

A swimming pool is defined as an above or below ground structure principally used for swimming or bathing, including some models of portable pools and spas. If your portable pool or spa can hold water at a depth of more than 300 millimetres, then the laws apply to you.

For pool owners wanting to obtain a Pool Safety Certificate following a successful compliance inspection by Council, the State Government fee of $41.75 will remain payable.
