Steer prices top again at Roma Store Sale
Roma Saleyards Store Sale held Tuesday, 23 November 2021, recorded a new top price for steers at the facility, with prices reaching 830c/kg.
Steers sold for 830c/kg, reaching a top of $1,565 to average $1,563 per head. Calves topped at a new record too, selling for 878c/kg, reaching a top of $1,436 to average $918 per head.
Mayor Tyson Golder said the Roma Saleyards is Australia’s largest cattle selling centre and the continued high record prices at the Roma Saleyards show we continue to be the biggest in beef and the place to sell your cattle.
