Mosquito fogging to commence in Surat this week
Mosquito fogging will take place in Surat this week, to help control and reduce mosquito numbers as a result of the recent rain.
Fogging is set to occur on Thursday, 25 November, Tuesday, 30 November, Thursday, 2 December and Tuesday, 7 December between 5am and 7.30am in Surat (weather permitting).
The fogger, which sounds similar to a motor vehicle with no exhaust, uses a mix of a chemical and diesel to create the ‘fog’ and kills flying adult mosquitoes. The fog smoke is safe for humans and pets.
