Mitchell water update

Council has received a number of reports about dirty water in Mitchell since the completion of Mitchell’s new bore.

Most residents will not have any issue with dirty water, however if you experience dirty water, please run your taps until the water runs clear.

The dirty water is due to the new water source interacting with a build-up in the water mains that has been deposited over the years.

If your water does not run clean after a few minutes, please contact Council on 1300 007 662.
