Yuleba have your say - Purchase and use of land

Maranoa Regional Council would like the Yuleba community’s feedback on Council acquiring two police paddock blocks.

The two police paddock blocks located in Stephenson Street Yuleba, Lot 46 on WV1048 (2630m2) and Lot 305 on WV1031 (9.560ha)

The feedback collected during this consultation will allow Council to determine the best use of the land and identify any current or future benefit that will best serve your community.

The land that is being considered hold numerous potential purposes.

Lot 46 on WV1048 is zoned District Centre which provides for a mix of land use activities, including retail, commercial, residential, offices, administration, health services and community uses.

Lot 305 on WV1031 is zoned recreation and open space which provides for a range of sporting, recreation, leisure cultural and educational activities.

It is likely that a development approval will be required from Council for any of these activities.
