Steer prices hit a new high at Roma Store Sale

Roma Saleyards Store Sale held Tuesday, 7 December 2021, recorded a new top price for steers at the facility, with prices reaching 918c/kg.

Steers sold for 918c/kg, reaching a top of $1,955 to average $1,688 per head.

Mayor Tyson Golder is pleased to see prices soar once again at the Roma Saleyards.

“This is an incredible achievement! It is great to see strong prices continue and new record prices skyrocket at the Roma Saleyards,” Cr Golder said.

“It is a testament of the competition that the Roma Saleyards creates, bringing buyers in from all over Australia”
