Council's Christmas Hamper Appeal 2021

Christmas will be a lot merrier this year in the Maranoa after Council’s Christmas Relief Appeal raised $1,485.

Council continued its partnership with Salvation Army, with the money raised to offer Christmas Relief to households in need of extra support during the holiday season, including toys and food relief cards.

Mayor Tyson Golder is thankful to the community for their willingness to contribute to a worthwhile cause.

“Christmas can be a tough time of year for some of our community and to be able to help provide support in a small way is so important. On behalf of Council, thank you to all those that donated,” Cr Golder said.
