CHANGES TO ‘REX MRC RESIDENT AND SME BUSINESS FARE SCHEME’

Council wishes to advise residents in the region that a price increment to the ‘MRC Resident and SME Business Fare’ in consultation with Rex Airlines will be placed into effect from 11 July 2023

This is in response to an increase in fees from the Brisbane Airport of $5.50, of which Rex is only passing on $5.00 fare increase. 

From 11 July 2023, fares will be available for sale and travel with an increase of $5.00.

For eligible residents, this mean that they will pay:

Maranoa Resident fare $174* one way or $348* return.

Maranoa SME Fare $255* one way or $510* return.

The REX MRC Resident Fare Scheme with Maranoa Regional Council was resolved to finalise and execute a ground-breaking partnership deal with Rex Airlines during the November 2022 Council meeting.
