Council is seeking expressions of interest from proponents who wish to purchase and develop the site described as part of Lot 2 on RP101099 being vacant rural residential zoned land located on the corner of Edwardes Street South and Newbon Street, Roma.

Council has resolved that it is in the public interest to invite expressions of interest (for the purpose of short listing prior to proceeding to a tender process) for the purchase and development of the land.

Council invites this expression of interest with the view of achieving the release of residential land to meet the current and future needs of the Roma community. This expression of interest process is the first step to determine the level of interest from developers in purchasing this land and subdividing into a minimum of 30 residential lots.
