Surat Town - Mosquito Management
Council will be undertaking larvicide mosquito treatment in Surat town area to reduce breeding this week.
The treatment will be carried out early in the morning on Wednesday 17 April, 2024 at the following locations between 8am and 12 noon: Surat Riverside Walk & Parklands, Fisherman’s Rest and Duck Pond.
Council recommends that anyone with respiratory problems or elderly to avoid these area’s while the treatments are being undertaken.
Council has also provided free saw dust which can be collected near the Alexander Street Depot. Please note there is limited supply, only take what you need and in moderation.
