Changes to Management of Waste Facilities

Maranoa Regional Council will be holding a series of public meetings to discuss changes that will be taking place at the region’s waste facilities.

The changes are necessary to address compliance issues at the sites that have been raised by the State Government.

While the measures will have some impact on how residents use the facilities, ultimately they will result in safer waste facilities and more environmentally sustainable practices.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for residents to hear what is planned and why, and also to provide feedback on how the changes will be implemented.
