Planned Prescribed Burns - Amby

Back
Public notice presribed planned burn Amby.

Maranoa Regional Council wishes to advise residents in the town of Amby that the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting planned burns in the region, starting Sunday, 23 June.

These fire mitigation measures will allow excess fuel loads to be burnt off in preparation for the summer months later this year.

It is recommended that windows and doors are kept closed during this time and those who may suffer from a respiratory condition should keep their medication close by.

Smoke can decrease visibility on the roads with motorists urged to drive with caution and to conditions.

Council would like to thank residents in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any inconveniences this may cause.
