Water Outage – Roma

UPDATE as of 11.30am: The water issue has now been resolved.

As a result of last night’s storm, Council is experiencing issues with the pumps from the reservoirs east of Roma (everywhere east of Bungil creek), which is causing a water outage to the area.

Emergency repairs are underway.  

Council Water Officers have been working on the issue since early this morning and a contractor has been engaged to fix the control unit for the pumps.

An update will be provided later this morning to affected residents.
