Line Marking: Injune

Line marking work is scheduled for Injune between Friday 7th February and Monday 10th February.

While a window of four days has been allowed, it is anticipated that the work will occur over the weekend

The work will take place along Hutton Street and Second Avenue.

Background:

A safety audit of the street-side trees along Hutton Street was recently undertaken to assess their impact on visibility and safety at the intersection.

The audit found that the current Give Way lines are too far back from the intersection and this is having an impact on visibility. It recommended that the Give Way markings be moved closer to the centre line along Hutton Street.

Parking lines will also be added along Hutton Street and Second Avenue.
