Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has weakened to a tropical low and is gradually moving inland. Council will be monitoring conditions closely over the next 24–48 hours for any major changes in forecast rainfall and potential local impacts.
Since yesterday’s update, the latest forecast indicates a slight increase in expected rainfall for Monday and Tuesday, with daily totals now 10–20mm.
Flood Watch – Utpper Condamine Catchmtent
Council is monitoring the situation, but any potential localised river rises in Surat are expected to be at least one to two weeks away based on current forecasts. Updates will continue over the next week as more information becomes available from the upper catchments.
