Weather Update

The weather system responsible for recent widespread rainfall is now moving eastward through the Maranoa, with conditions expected to gradually ease over the weekend.
The Maranoa Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) remains at ALERT, ensuring ongoing support to residents and communities, particularly those in isolated areas. This status will be reviewed in the coming days as weather and access conditions continue to improve.

Council continues to work closely with residents south of Mungallala and Mitchell, including resupply of essential goods where required.
