Business Notification – Tree Pruning Works on McDowall Street

Council wishes to advise that contractors will be undertaking tree pruning along McDowall Street on Wednesday, 9 April, and Thursday, 10 April.

Closure will commence from 6pm and continuing into the early hours of the following mornings.

These works are part of Council’s routine tree maintenance program, aimed at enhancing the streetscape, improving visibility, and ensuring public safety.

To minimise disruption, contractors will prioritise areas near accommodation providers earlier in the evening.

Traffic control will be in place throughout the works, and businesses may experience temporary access adjustments. 

However, emergency vehicle access will remain unaffected at all times.
